Writing with a trauma-informed lens is our unique skill.

  • Training Services

We have been delivering training for the past decade or more. Stay tuned to see what’s coming up in 2024.

  • Design services

As deep-thinking creatives, we have designed hundreds of courses both online and in face-to-face formats. Learning should be both memorable and engaging. People won’t remember boring learning, but they will always remember that time they built a brain from straws and pipe cleaners, or that time they had to create their action plan. We are about enjoyable learning experiences; we are gamifying learning, so it has more meaning for the memory. The reason people are engaged with our training is also because of feelings. People rarely remember what you said, but they remember how they felt. We aim to inspire and help people feel like they want to keep learning beyond our training.

Designing training like this requires experience and an understanding of your audience’s needs.

  • Facilitation Services

We are natural facilitators. both starting in childhood! There were some early signs for Tracey when, at age 8, she started facilitating family Christmas dinners. Her strengths lay in facilitating challenging conversations. Holly and Tracey are skilled at facilitating anything from diplomatic talks to meetings in the board room, and our favorite is facilitating community practice sessions for teams.

Tracey also has recent experience chairing sessions at conferences.

  • Management Coaching

Having spent the majority of her time in management and leadership roles, Tracey has coached top executives and front-line managers.

Her coaching is through a trauma-informed lens and has a focus on psychological safety for all. Tracey’s style is warm and engaging but also doesn’t shy away from asking the questions that need to be explored.

Why do people work with us?

  1. We are specialists in the trauma-informed field.

Put simply, this means we know what makes your people feel safe, and if they feel safe at work, they will be doing their best work. We believe that unless businesses and organsations understand their people and are able to adapt to their needs better, they will not succeed in this era of business. A trauma-informed lens lays the foundations for building and maintaining successful engagement. A trauma-informed leader will always have the trust of their employees.

2. Experience + self-awareness = quality outcomes.

Let’s just say we have been around the block a few times, and we know what works and what doesn’t in terms of businesses and organisations understanding their people and getting the best results. We value continued learning and the importance of working on continual self-awareness and self-reflection. We have learned that nothing is a waste of time, not even mistakes, especially if you use the experience wisely.

3. We stay current.

Because we are trainers and educators, we stay on top of current research, trends, and new initiatives that are pertinent to the work we are involved in. We read, collaborate, and interview people a lot, we know how important it is to stay up to date with what is happening in our fields so that we can deliver the most important and recent information to your business. If your business is still working off assumptions, data, or information from ten years ago you might be inadvertently doing more harm than good. We also want to understand what the skills of tomorrow are and how we can be prepared. We are also mothers of kids in their twenties so we need to stay up to date with what is happening in our world bridging the gap between generations is important to us.

4. We are skilled at customising and contextualizing the work to meet your needs.

Your business or organisation is unique we get it! We want you to have customised and contextualised products and services. If we ask a lot of questions this is why, we need to get to know your business and what makes you different. We have been doing this style of work for over ten years and customised training and services always leave people feeling heard.

5. We believe in us.

We are confident in ourselves and our services. There is not much we haven’t tackled and we have a strong belief we have done the work to called specialists and experts in our fields. We believe in our passion for our work and most of all we believe in each other. We have the testimonies to back up what we are saying and are happy to provide you with a past client to speak with if needed.

5. We love a good business problem to solve.

In our experience the best work is always the challenging work, it brings big rewards. We have thrown ourselves into unchartered waters before to tackle problems and find an outcome that is effective and satisfying and guess what we will do it time again because it brings with it growth, satisfaction and results.

5. We are from an Island called nipaluna, which makes us creative problem solvers and curious creatures.

People from Islands and remote communities tend to be creative problem solvers that’s because “necessity is the mother of invention”. When you come from remote areas you have to find creative ways to solve problems. This is because we often don’t have the same resources that the Big Island has, we have to find new creative ways to get even better results. You also want to prove that despite being from a more remote area we can do it just as well if not better, call it stubbornness we like to call it determination. We see this all the time in nipaluna, one of the most creative places on earth, people are always finding ways around things. When your business needs become essential, we are forced to find ways to solve these neccessities and that isn’t a bad thing.
